I don’t know about you, but I like to know when bad weather is headed my way. From a winter storm in the North Country to severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes, it is important to me to be prepared. Sometimes watching the weather report on television is not enough, especially if the weather knocks out electrical power that prevents the use of the television, computer and some run-of-the-mill radio and stereo systems. In order stay informed, I decided I needed to find an alternative method of staying on top of the weather reports in order to protect my family and my home.
